I think I understand what you mean when you say you feel selfish and angry for the grief you’ve felt. I hope that, with time (and time is relative), you’ll gradually discover that you’ve lost less and less time in the depths of your grief. Perhaps some day, or even for some fleeting moments, you’d feel the absence of your loved ones not in terms of lost potential, but as reminders of the best things life can offer.
Caveat: I’m (relatively) young so take my words with a pinch of salt. Also, I know everyone processes grief differently.
